One of our most loved šŸThanksgiving family traditionsā€¦.the Thankful Tree.

Its taken on many different shapes, sizes and variations through the years, but we always have one!

This year, I knew I was just not going to be able to keep up with a card or leaf everydayā€¦ so, it was the perfect activity for Thanksgiving Eve.

I sent the girls out to collect branches, filled a mason jar with some clear stones, traced and cut out some leaves, used a little twine, and the tree is up.

Iā€˜m loving the simplicity of it this year.šŸ‚

I keep the leaves or cards the girls each write, every year, and they become treasures. (This year, we have some from Grandma and Grandpa too.) Their handwriting and their ā€œstoryā€ from that year.

Traditions create memories and bind a family together.
